President’s Message
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the newly elected president for the Texas Perinatal Association (TPA). I am a social worker by training and have worked for 16 years in the perinatal areas of Seton Medical Center in Austin. In my current position, I am the Network Perinatal Outreach Coordinator for Seton Family of Hospitals. Since November of 2002 I have served on the TPA board, and that has been a wonderful experience. I am blessed to work with a group of professionals whose dedication to mothers, fathers, and their babies is inspiring and energizing. TPA members volunteer numerous hours to support our mission, the promotion of the continued improvement in the quality of health care for mothers and infants in Texas. We all have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of families both now and for years to come. Are you new to TPA? This association is a multidisciplinary organization of both medical and non-clinical professionals from regions throughout the state of Texas who share a common commitment to the families and infants of Texas. Our board comprises representatives who have are the voices for these regions. Their unique skills and training collectively contribute toward our achievement of TPA’s goals and vision for the future.
"FIGHT PREMATURITY IN TEXAS."
